I'm Bob Foster and I help teenagers succeed in their school exams.
Private tuition: Maths and Science are my specialities.
Learning skills: I help students experiment with different
learning ideas until they find those that suit their own, unique learning
style. I encourage students to learn by explaining what they know -
one of my favourite quotes is: "You do not really understand something
unless you can explain it to your grandmother." ~ Albert Einstein
Motivation: Without this, learning is hard! I show
students how to be positive about their future and be motivated from
within, in addition to being motivated by others.
Planning: It is important to be able to organise and follow
a learning plan at all times, not just for revision. It is said that
failing to plan is the same as planning to fail. I help students develop
learning plans that work for them.
Where am I?
I live in Frenchay, within easy reach of the whole of Bristol. Lessons
can be here, or at your place, if it's not too far. I can also help
using the internet, email and phone.
