Speed readingStrange - isn't the best way to learn something to read slowly and carefully, making sure you understand everything as you go along? Well, yes and no. There is more to speed reading that just reading fast. In order to read fast, you have to be able to focus more intently on what you're reading - you have to read in a different way. Speed reading involves concentrated reading in chunks - always going forwards. OK, now and then you may lose concentration and have to go back, but you will learn to do this less and less with practice.
